Terms and Conditions

You will need to produce your membership card when attending the centre.

Online Bookings

  1. Bookings can be made online for all centres up to seven days in advance. Please have your membership card number available at the time of booking.
  2. You must check in for your activity or booking when arriving at the centre, (either at a self service kiosk or at reception). If you fail to check in for your activity you will not be recorded as attended and you may be charged for the activity.
  3. All persons booking an instructed class should ensure that they arrive in good time for the class, as the warm up is crucial to the participation in the full class. Entry to those arriving 5 minutes or later after a Fit&Well class has commenced will be refused entry and no refunds will be given.
  4. We recommend that members book in advance as membership doesn't guarantee availability of an activity or facility.
  5. Members may not book an activity on their card for somebody else as memberships are not transferable. This is a breach of membership terms and conditions and could result in the membership being terminated and you will be charged for the activity.
  6. Centre rules and regulations and Fit&Well membership rules must be adhered too at all times. Centre rules and regulations can be found in each centres' reception. Fit&Well members have signed their Terms and Conditions at point of membership taken out and been provided with a copy.
  7. There is an administration charge to replace a lost card.
  8. Access Card holders can register and book a limited range of activities online but they will not be able to book classes online as this is a benefit of Fit&Well membership. In order to book classes, they will need to contact the centres' reception.

How to Cancel a Booking

  1. Cancellations can now be made online. Please view Account History and select required activity to cancel and click on the red box containing the cross. This only applies to bookings made online, if the booking was made at the centre or over the phone you should call or text the relevant centre with your membership number and cancellation request. To speak to reception, The Laura Trott Leisure Centre is contactable on 01992 623345 and The John Warner Sports Centre on 01992 445375.

Refund policy

  1. If you give more than 4 hours notice then no charge will be made. Please note that the times of all cancellations are recorded.
  2. If you cannot give 4 hours notice, then please still inform the centre and we will make every effort to re-let your activity or booking. If we manage to do this, no charge will be made.
  3. If less than 4 hours notice is given, and we fail to re-let your activity or booking, or you fail to inform us of your non arrival, a charge may be made to Fit&Well members corresponding to the cost of the activity. This payment should be made within 14 days.
  4. Should the payment not be made within 14 days, then the Council reserves the right to send an invoice to the member, which may include an administration fee.
  5. Should you have two or more outstanding bookings, or an outstanding balance remains unpaid for 28 days, the Council reserves the right to suspend booking privileges until payment is made in full. We shall contact you should this situation arise. Our Customer Service team can only help you avoid these charges if you help them, by letting them know of any cancellations.
